Spring Cleaning Tips and Tricks for Your Raleigh Apartments

Despite a few chilly, brisk mornings and a cool breeze that still lingers in the air, springtime is here! Most people when hearing the word ‘spring’ associate it with cleaning or a fresh start. To most, it is the former! We understand that spring cleaning is no small task, however. In fact, it can turn into a huge ordeal that most eventually give up on. The end result? Only a room or two gets done, at most! Fortunately, we have some great tips to ensure your Raleigh apartments are cleaned from top to bottom, looking brand new!

Let’s Go Green!

One of our suggestions for this year’s spring cleaning is to consider going green. Ditch the toxic and strong chemicals and opt to use natural homemade solutions. Using some items you already have in the cupboard, you can fabricate your own solutions! White vinegar, baking soda, lemons, grapefruits, olive oil, and borax are some of the eco-friendly ingredients you can use. You’ll never look at food the same way again!

Tips and Tricks

If you have a project like spring cleaning on your to-do list, a list is something that can help you stay organized.

A good way to do this is to go through every room on your to-do and jot down everything that needs to get done in that room. Writing out your projects will also ensure you have all the right cleaning materials handy. The last thing you want to do is stop what you are doing and run out to the store for supplies.

Another suggestion is to create a music playlist. Listening to music while you are spring cleaning can help you go faster! Consider naming your playlist ‘Apartment Therapy’! Okay okay, maybe that was a bit much.

Make Spring Cleaning Fun!

For this year’s spring cleaning, we suggest organizing yourself before getting started. You will know exactly what is on the agenda per room so that you don’t forget about any one space. Also, don’t forget your playlist, it will help you get done quicker!
